Blog Branding Give-Away!
Mary Fran Wiley, who will be presenting at Nourished, is giving away free branding work! She wants to use a real-world example in her session Creating a Strong Blog Brand.
Design and branding are what visually set your site apart from the crowd. By having a strong brand that represents what your site is about, visitors can instantly get a feel for your site. Think of your favorite food blogs. They all have an identity that is more than just the voice of the writing or the photography. They have a brand.
A brand is how everything works together – from the colors, fonts and layouts to the style of photography, writing and last, but not least the logo.
Mary Fran wants to give the attendees of Nourished a stronger brand.

This is really generous. My blog is not sponsored or anything, doesn’t provide us any income, and doesn’t have a huge following like some of you. However, it has been so powerful for me to write for other moms who are going through similar issues with their children’s eating habits/health issues, not to mention therapeutic for me to “spill” some of our own trials and get feedback. I’m excited and hopeful to attend Nourished because I know so many of us are moms going through similar things, and just trying to help others and do the right things on all accounts! Even someone with a teeny little blog like mine is part of something so much bigger- this community of (mostly, from what I can tell!) women bloggers spreading the word about more nutritious foods. I’m just in awe to be a part of it all.
Maybe this is not the right place to say it, but it was an opportunity to comment, and it all just came pouring out. Sometimes I don’t think we realize how much we mean to each other because we’re all doing our own things, but we really are a community and connected, and it’s pretty amazing when you sit back and look at it! <3
